I hope your right about the meltdown. Those are always fun! I fell asleep but woke up in time to watch the 4th quarter of the Lakers-Suns game. Since I hate the Lakers and Mamba this game scared me. First fo all, the Lakers really are playing good team basketball. I used to think Phil Jackson was overrated, but he really has pushed the right buttons in order to get the team playing to their potential. Their defense was solid and they didn't need Kobe to score over 35 to win on the road. What sucks is they are getting close to adopting the Phil Jackson recipie for winning games. Play good defense, execute the triangle, keep it close enough and le the best player take over the game in the last five minutes. It didn't work exactly that way since Odom and Vuyachick (sp) were huge down the stretch.

The most telling thing about this series...three minutes to go...Kobe drives to the hoop, Nash is clearly in position outside the circle, Kobe gets the blocking call and the hoop. The refs gave him that call in a close game on the road over Nash...now you tell me who is really the MVP of the league!

Steve Nash...poor little sawed off runt!
