Saturday night I got to see Phoenix drive a victory bus while Kobe threw his teammates under it. Kobe needed to be the Superstar last night, instead he looked like he was happy with "we lost because my teammates suck. It's not my fault." I wonder if he and Peyton Manning compare notes in the off-season. Strangest crowd shot of the Phoenix-Lakers game was John McCain sitting with his wife...he had a blanks stare while his wife was singing along to "Rock and Roll All Night"

Sunday: Two games, three teams played excellent basketall. I could see every game between the Spurs-Mavs coming down to the wire. I loved how Dallas pushed the ball up whenever they could to try to get a shot before the Spurs defense set up. The Spurs totally clamped down in the last two mins. I swear this should be the showcase series, but instead I had to wake up at 9 Am to see it. Well if I had been up at 9 I would have seen the whole thing.

Cleveland is in for a pounding. They really can't play defense. Detroit is going to have to play poorly while Cleveland shoots lights out for the Cavs to even have a chance of stealing one game. I LOVED seeing Tayshaun keep pace with LBJ for most of the game. It was even more lopsided than the score indicated.
